18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 ¶ Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
So, Mary came before he ascended or resurrected. Thatās why he told her not to touch her because he was in spirit form. His body was being prepared for resurrection. She left and he ascended to resurrection and heaven. Later in the evening on the same day what we refer to as Easter, he came to the apostles at their home and gave them the gift of the Holy Ghost. He showed himself to them. Now what is it that you donāt understand?
