Zone1 Hebrews 1:8 says Jesus is God

Where is "the first account", chapter and verse please.

"The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre."

John 20:1 KJV

Can I get an amen.;)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 ¶ Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,

So, Mary came before he ascended or resurrected. That’s why he told her not to touch her because he was in spirit form. His body was being prepared for resurrection. She left and he ascended to resurrection and heaven. Later in the evening on the same day what we refer to as Easter, he came to the apostles at their home and gave them the gift of the Holy Ghost. He showed himself to them. Now what is it that you don’t understand?

If Jesus was in spirit form, why was the stone rolled away. And if Jesus was spirit why was Mary M able to touch him physically?

Every single eyewitness account of anyone seeing Jesus after the crucifixion was an eyewitness account of what was seen and heard in a dream, the only realm where what they saw and reported could possibly be the truth.

It's a Jewish belief that dreams are the medium through which God communicates to people. Seeing Jesus in a dream would have convinced them he survived death and was alive and well, living in the eternal realm of God.

The reward of the righteous.

Now you know.

The first Christians who witnessed the supernatural acts performed by Jesus - which included controlling matter, controlling nature, healing physical deformities, healing diseases, raising the dead and resurrecting himself from death - worshiped Jesus as God because they witnessed those miracles. Non-Christian historians recorded that the first Christians worshiped Jesus as God because he performed supernatural feats. 24,000 written manuscripts documented the supernatural feats Jesus performed and the first Christians witnessed. The Babylonian Talmud confirms Jewish religious leaders put Jesus to death for sorcery and for leading Israel into apostasy. There are no opposing accounts that document that Jesus did not perform any supernatural acts. There are no opposing accounts that argue Jesus wasn't put to death for performing sorcery and inciting Israel to apostasy. There are no opposing accounts which document Jesus wasn't resurrected. There are no opposing accounts that the first Christians didn't witness Jesus performing supernatural acts. people who were publicly executed and quite dead physically do not 'appear' by popping into and out of locked rooms, do not spook their friends, eat fish, and do not ask anyone to poke their mortal wounds except in dreams.

Here's a link for you....

something unpleasant that can't be avoided: Dying is a fact of life. Unfortunately for you, exams are a fact of life.

You have been diverted by superstitious archaic lore, are under a strong delusion, and have lost your mind. Fact.

There were the Ebionites.

The Ebionites rejected the divinity of Christ, believing that Jesus was a mere man chosen by God to be the Messiah, but not the eternal Son of God. They held that Jesus was a human being who was especially righteous and was chosen by God because of his piety.

i'm not saying that i agree with that viewpoint. I just the early history of Christianity.

"Son of God" is just a relational metaphor for the prophet described in Deuteronomy 18:18 which indicates a closeness, intimacy, and knowledge of God far above that of other prophets who were called "servants of God".

Even so all were ordinary men like Jesus, even contemptible creatures, raised up by God for a specific purpose.

History records that Jesus did. And yes, it was a very big deal. :)

The first Christians were Jews.

I know, a very big deal, so big of a deal that you think that a simpleton cartoon can explain away reality? :auiqs.jpg:

A trinity diddled a virgin to father himself only to demonstrate supernatural powerful miracles (of the lie that scripture is to be taken literally), say nutty things that no one understood, and was ridiculed despised rejected and crucified as "a perfect human sacrifice", derp, so that believers, who celebrate his death and solemnly eat him every now and then on Sunday, can remain assholes and sin with impunity for life and not die "the death".

You believe that crap? But can't believe you've been beguiled by 4th century Romans who had a vested interest in burying the teachings of Jesus under a mountain of blasphemy upon which your church sits like a dragon?

What a maroon!

Yeah, a big deal, and I suppose your knowledge of classical music comes from looney tunes cartoons as well.

I am very impressed!

Jesus said for Mary NOT to touch her. So, she didn't touch him. It was in the evening when the apostles were together, not in the tomb, that they saw him as he showed himself to them and let them touch his wounds. He was at that time resurrected. I'm sorry that you are unable to comprehend simple English verses. Definitely very limiting for you. As far as the stone rolled back, it was done so, so that Mary and the apostles could see inside that he was gone. If Jesus could suddenly appear in the room with Thomas and the other apostles without going through the door (there were no windows), he didn't need to roll the stone away except to show people he had gone.
So, in the morning on the third day, Mary went to the tomb and saw that Jesus was not there. She looked in again and saw and heard two speaking. She recognized one of them eventually as Jesus Christ. But, he said for her not to hug him as I'm sure she wanted to. She would not have been able to because her being in a human earthly body and him spirit body. Jesus is not a liar or a devil spirit who would have attempted to hug her. Being that he's God, he would not lie to her and told her to stop and not touch him. By the evening of the third day, he had risen. He had been resurrected too. Between the death and resurrection, he went to the spirits in prison to preach to them who did not get to hear his doctrine and message as you will find in First Peter.

I can read. If Jesus told Mary not to touch him, that means that he was able to be touched. If he was in a glorified spirit form Mary likely wouldn't have tried to embrace him. Also, in the gloom she mistook Jesus for a gardener, a normal flesh and blood being, not a glorified spirit gardener.

And yet the evidence shows that Jesus performed miracles, was resurrected and the first Christians worshiped him as God because of that.

Have you seen the spirit of man let alone Jesus Christ’s spirit? No. So, stop with the idea you know what he looked like to her. Just read. She thought he was the gardener. So, you are wrong. 100% completely wrong. What this tells us is our spirits look just like what we see in the mirror.

Now, how do you conclude that Jesus could have been touched because he said not to? That’s unreasonable and illogical. He was in spirit form and our spirits are material, but a much more refined material that we cannot feel. Ghostlike.

We'll just have to disagree on this.

Parts of the OT? Sure. NT? No way.
Everything that Jesus made known he had drawn from the Law and the Prophets just like everything I have made known I have drawn from what Jesus taught.

There's no evidence or logic for that.
Jesus said ā€œGo back and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. Matthew 11:5 And after all that crazy talk about 'miracles" including I am the bread of life, I came down from heaven, the father and I are one, unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you can have no life in you Jesus then said;

"UNTIL NOW I HAVE BEEN USING FIGURES OF SPEECH." John16:25

You are just wrong. You have been deceived by your beloved church. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Deal with it.
