Ahh... well, I was just reading the thread:

Every service that someone else provides you is a privilege. Doctors and nurses aren't your personal slaves.

They are to the for-profit private equity scumbags.

Under socialism, the goal isn't profit. The goal is to improve human living conditions economically and spiritually.

Well said. That's the question all this boils down to: do we want government in charge of our economic and spiritual health? Do we want government defining economic and spiritual health and passing laws that push us in that direction?

The Constitution clearly answers this question with regard to the spiritual, with the First Amendment. The founders saw the folly of theocracy and flatly rejected it. It wasn't as clear on economic power, largely because socialism wasn't yet a thing at the time.

We need another amendment.
