Interesting that I watched Fox News interview some people a couple of days ago asking them what they remember on July 4th and many of them were chocked up when saying "freedom". Many of them had a viceral reaction to the question, your population really cherishes this as more than a concept.

You have it today, don't take it for granted. You'd be surprised how little other nations truly have it and all the characteristics, be it Due Process, Rule of Law, accountability of government, Pursuit of Happiness (all encompassing).

To continue to maintain that freedom you need to root out corruption and hold bad actors accountable.
