You don't get that you argument is silly.no one ever said there was,, one is called government and one is called church,,
now if a preacher is elected POTUS and uses his beliefs as a frame work for actions he takes it is perflecty fine,,
on the otherhand due to the 1st amendment the government can not go into a church and dictate what the church preaches or doesnt preach,,
if thats what you mean by separation of church and state you would be correct,,
