Damn, maybe spend a bit of time doing a little research. The affair has been long going. The ethics violations concern sexual harassment in the workplace. Seems Edwards had a liking for young interns. That, along with the environment resulting from the open affair, resulted in the highest turnover rate of any Congressional office. Now that is saying something. And the thing is, this is the fourth Congressional representative from the 11th to face sexual harassment charges, IN A ROW.

Adultery is a personal issue between spouses and affair partners. If he made a career of blathering about family values and fidelity, then he may have some to crow eat now. If he has committed sexual harassment, then I would see cause for removing him from office, but I would still want to see proof, not just rumors.
