Ted Cruz, Republican won the U.S. Senate seat in Texas, and he won by a big margin. He is a nightmare in the making for Democrats, because there is a trend of increasing Latino faces winning elected offices. Cruz just won a big one! So much for the GOP being racist, Cruz overcame a very dirty campaign in the primary run by his caucasian Republican opponent. Cruz is gonna be a pain in Democrats asses for 6 years.

Oh and so will the new female Republican U.S. Senator from Nebraska, Deb Fischer who handily beat Democrat Kerrey.

Cruz is as Latino as Mitt Romney..lol.. He was born in friggin' Alberta Canada and spent the majority of his formative years as a child there. He only renounced his citizenship there in 2014. He's more maple syrup, hockey and ice fishing than he is tequila, soccer and wading across the Rio Grande. But whatever. The Texans like him. At least I think he can legally be a Senator. That's a relief.
