Goodbye CDC, Goodbye Country

You most certainly are when it comes to the gender affirming care you mention above.
Not at all. We all understand perfectly well what biological sex is and isn't.

Not at all. We all understand perfectly well what biological sex is and isn't.

And then ignore it when you pretend the 500 genders aren't made up bullshit.

And then ignore it when you demand the made up genders be treated like the reality of a given biological sex.

Not at all. We all understand perfectly well what biological sex is and isn't.

Yes, and some of us also understand that if a person's brain doesn't match their biological sex, they have a mental disorder that should be treated, not confirmed. Seriously, you can't really fix the biological side, but you can work on the mental side. Confirming the delusion is ridiculous and counter productive.

The people who downplayed COVID as just a bad flu want to portray monkeypox as health crisis.

It's almost as if your political ideology is warping your sense of reality.

The issue with the COVID reaction was not mitigating it as time went on and the mortality rates assumed earlier were found to be in error.

Meanwhile you have a virus that has a known transmission method yet the CDC hedged due to politics.

That's the heart of it really. We are merely discussing the best way to go about treating gender dysphoria, a condition that we all agree exists. So not sure where you get the idea that we are ignoring basic biology.

It sounds like you concluded that gender affirming care is bad without actually studying it. Isn't that what you accused the left of doing? Medical science would say that we should research the results before deciding.

Mortality rates were still far higher than "a bad flu" as the right lied. COVID was and is highly infectious. Mitigating something so highly infectious isn't easy.

You don't know shit about how the CDC responded to monkeypox. You're just saying shit because you want to have an argument, but there's nothing there. Just a thinly veiled accusation with no substantiation.

Actually for healthy people with no morbidities, it wasn't. and for people under say 25 it was even more so.

And that was the earlier strains before it started mutating to something less virulent, and people started getting it and herd immunity started to form.

I stopped at 2 shots, because after I got COVID twice, and it was at worse a mild flu for me. And I was in my 40's as well as what the charts consider overweight.

I linked an article that went over it, but you can deny things as you usually do that don't fit your little narrative.

Sure, lets affirm a known delusion and even physically and permanently alter their bodies in the process. As ridiculous as that is, it just happens to align with the left-wing political ideology. Go figure.

But there isn't a delusion. Everyone is perfectly well aware as to what their biology is and isn't. The question is whether their preferred gender reflects that biology.

Being gay used to be treated as a delusion and psychiatry was supposed to treat it by convincing them they weren't gay

Being gay doesn't require the rest of society to play along with being gay.

It's a mistake to believe that it mutated into something less virulent. For starters, we saw the worst mortality when the delta wave hit, which was significantly more virulent than wildtype. People by and large felt that omicron was less dangerous, but in actuality, it's just because by the time omicron hit, everyone had developed some degree of immunity, either through prior infection or immunization. It wasn't that it was less dangerous, it was that the vast majority of people were adequately protected from it.

Social distancing dramatically reduced the spread and effect through 2020. When 2021 hit and restrictions were lifted, we saw huge spikes of disease and death in areas with low vaccine penetrance and low social restrictions.

If we had RFK Jr running the HHS during COVID, it would have been a total ******* disaster.

So basically you're a "don't ask, don't tell" kind of person. One of those people who think it's fine to be gay as long as gay people exhibit no signs of being gay outside their house and keep it a secret from everyone.

I didn't say earliest, I said earlier. Also that data is still suspect because people who had COVID were considered to die of COVID even if they had multiple co-morbidities that contributed.

Did we go to AI for this response as well?

Social distancing was a ritual and nothing more.

How does what a gay person does require me to affirm it?

Being trans requires constant affirmation to a lie.

Because they did die of COVID even if those conditions contributed in some way, they didn't die until they got COVID which means it's the most proximate cause of death. Having high blood pressure and obesity isn't great, but it's not fatal.

Social distancing is based on science and understanding how disease spread.

Social distancing was based on some bullshit empirical number from some decades old study.

And then people gave it all up over the Floyd riots, and that was somehow OK with you morons. Meanwhile people on beaches were told they were killing people.
