And, of course, Harris's nomination to VP and eventually for president told you just how badly they were doing.

.No, I'm not wishing for it......I believe we need two strong pro-American parties.....but the Democrats don't seem able to get out of their own way. They can't decide what their agenda is, what parts caused them the the Trump landslide.
They simply double down on losing.

Remember when Bernie Sanders, Socialist/Communist won enough votes to get the nomination and establishment Democrats who don't want to be known as commies, gave extra votes to certain delegates and stole Bernie's nomination and gave it to Hillary? I belive that won't happen again.

It's an interesting question, when (if ever) will the DNP be ready to face the reality that their agenda is not popular and they can't win national elections with it. I think it'll come down to votes and money, mostly money. When they lose election after election and donors start giving money to the GOP instead of them, then maybe things will change. But it's kinda iffy though, some of those people are progressive zealots to the nth degree.

After the Carter (who installed the Ayatollah in Iran) mess, it took three lost elections for the Dems before they gave in and selected a "New Democrat," Clinton.....who actually agreed to welfare reform (obliterated by our Muslim President, Obama).
I believe they will come around. Unfortunately the majority of Democrat supporters here on the board seem unable to be re-educated.
