Get Ready For A One-Party Nation

So which of my statements do you NOT support?
That is exactly NOT what you want.
  • You want to go back to a time when gays couldn't marry and had to hide in the closet.
  • You want to go back to a time when you got health care only if you could afford it.
  • You want to go back to a time when the only religions allowed were Jewish and Christian.
  • You want to go back to a time when racial and sex discrimination was accepted practice.
  • You want to go back to a time when all charity came from the religion you belonged to.
  • You want to go back to a time when pollution was an accepted part of business.
I could go on.
If you can't produce any quotes of mine that support your statements, then you are what you always were, a lying sack of offal.

So you are admitting to being a lying sack of offal.

A typical Democrat, lying more than breathing.

What scum you are and will always be.

The Dems certainly have members that range from moderate to radical but that doesn't mean the GOP doesn't have the same.

Sorry but you can't prove there are no radicals on the right by claiming there are radicals on the left.

This sounds exactly what Trump is trying to do.

Gallup's May 1-23 Values and Beliefs poll shows 69% support for legal same-sex marriage. It is obvious that the right is on the fringe of this issue.

Does the right's support extend to Islamic prayers?

Trump want universities to police the speech for their student.

Neither the Bible nor this country was found on the idea that all men are created equal. Hebrews were God's chosen people and he order the extermination of other groups. The US was founded with the institution of slavery.

Trump has been convicted of rape and fraud.

Even the GOP and Trump support his Social Security so it doesn't seem radical to me. A nationwide survey also finds that 87 percent of Americans agree that Social Security should remain a priority for the nation no matter the state of budget deficits, and this support holds strong across party affiliation. Ninety percent of Democrats, 86 percent of Republicans and 88 percent of Independents support keeping Social Security a priority.

56% of adults express support for policies aimed at protecting trans people from discrimination in jobs, housing and public spaces.

The majority of Americans support abortion with limits. For the first time in 40 years, the 2024 Republican Party platform does not explicitly call for a federal ban on abortion. States controlled by the right have bans:

Excellent granular retort to Polichica's rabid, effluent bullshit.
I rarely have the patience to respond point by point to the greasy tripe he/she/it regularly floods this zone with.
Good on ya'!

Democrats went from national suicide from 2020 to 2024 to political suicide. The way they’re heading 2026 will be a bloodbath for Democrats, and we could see turn on each other like never before.

True. When the wheels fall off of Trump's personality cult, we'll get balls-to-wall socialism. Go team!

No, I'm not wishing for it......I believe we need two strong pro-American parties.....but the Democrats don't seem able to get out of their own way. They can't decide what their agenda is, what parts caused them the the Trump landslide.
They simply double down on losing.

1. "This is electoral death for Democrats. As they rage about Donald Trump, they’re doing nothing when it comes to rebuilding the party, not that I’m complaining.

2. They’ve lost the middle and working classes, which was already a death blow, as those voter blocs were the backbone of the Democratic Party for generations. Liberals opted to discard these people, who number in the tens of millions, for a smaller, more ideologically rigid, and wealthier sect that isn’t big enough to win elections.

3. What else could go wrong? How about immigrant citizens who are very much on the MAGA train? The shift has been seismic, and it’ll leave Democratic operatives shell-shocked. CNN’s Harry Enten broke down the numbers, and it’s astounding [emphasis mine]:
In 2020, foreign born Americans favored Democrats by 32%
In 2024/2025 they now favore Republicans by 8%
A 40 point swing against the Dems.

4. in 2020. David Shor, a self-described leftist, warned Democrats to stick with health care and not double down in immigration lunacy; there’s no wiggle room there. Support for amnesty and a pathway for citizenship among Hispanics has never really been popular."

5. A major problem for the party is the internal battle of whether to admit that they are Boshevik.
But Biden was there because the Democrat establishment didn't want to admit that the party is Communist/Socialist....so they had to hide Bernie.
"...cascading crisis around Biden — his infirmity, the crisis of confidence in the party it caused, his saddling of the party with a weak successor, his final, fatal extraction from her to promise not to break from him — wasn’t really Biden’s decision to run again. It had been the Democratic establishment’s desperation to stop Bernie Sanders and his movement from taking over the party in 2020, something they could only do by saddling themselves with a man whose political abilities many of them had little faith in."
Jacobin.com
For the longest time, the socialist backbone of the party will, I suspect, now become dominant. Remember when Bernie Sanders, Socialist/Communist won enough votes to get the nomination and establishment Democrats who don't want to be known as commies, gave extra votes to certain delegates and stole Bernie's nomination and gave it to Hillary? I belive that won't happen again.
Pray for America if Republicans get full control, it's an illusion of caring and wanting what's best for the People.

They're 98% as corrupt as their elder brother in grift the democrats; they are warmongers and every bit as committed to enriching themselves and their funders as the democrats.

They refuse to pass DOGE savings.

I'm just not sure how a one party democrat-lite nation will be any better off

You have 2 genuine Right leaning Republicans in Massie and Rand Paul and Trump wants to get rid of both of them, you think that's best for the country?

It's the curse of our freedom......we can only choose the lesser evil.
The Republican Party died 10 years ago.

A brainwashed, deranged MAGA cult is not a political party.
Have I mentioned that you are a fool?

It bears repeating: you're a fool.

And then there is bombin' Biden who bombed overseas and destroyed America from within. Of course, now we know he wasn't cognizant of much and the Marxists ran the country into the ground for 4 years. No wonder you excluded the old fart.
After accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, Obama bombed more countries than any President since WWII
“U.S. Bombed Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia in 2016”
The U.S. dropped an average of 3 bombs per hour last year

I trust you are brave enough to answer this question:
If the direction of the Democrat Party, nationally, mirrors that of Mamdani, Bernie, and AOC, will you vote Democrat?

Mamdani proposed increasing taxes on white neighborhoods –
A document on his website explains the policy idea to “shift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods.”

Mamdani is already leaning into his socialist views, telling CNN that he has “many critiques of capitalism.
….he would eliminate fares on all city buses
......he plans to address the cost of food by creating city-owned grocery stores that will pay no rent or property taxes, buy and sell at wholesale prices from centralized warehouses and partner with local vendors to keep prices down.
.... raise NYC's minimum wage to $30

"Pressed on whether New York’s Jewish population could depend on him to protect them with antisemitic attacks on the rise in the United States, the candidate answered emphatically: “Antisemitism is not simply something that we should talk about."www.the-independent.com

Zohran Mamdani’s political positions, from Trump and ICE to Israel
Progressive shocks front-runner Andrew Cuomo in New York City mayoral race with stunning upset
www.the-independent.com www.the-independent.com

... won the New York City primary race because of his support for Palestine,

I am looking for thinking Democrats, who understand what WaPo wrote:

The Post agrees, and they give the entire game away in their headline: Zohran Mamdani’s victory is bad for New York and the Democratic Party.

Where do you stand?

Democrats espoused the one big tent party. Trouble is there's not enough time and money to meet every group's wants. Further, the democrats rarely helped the groups they so desperately needed as voters. The only answer became make Trump the problem. We saw how that played out.

It is rural versus urban, not democrat versus republican. The party that reduces the gap between what each side wants wins. Delivering on the promises.

Eventually both sides will offer us the same bucket of promises. Execution will determine how long we go with the winners.
