Germany faces its greatest economic crisis since the Second World War, thanks to the unrelenting idiocy of our political and media classes.

GAS SUPPLIES THROUGH NORD STREAM-1 RESUMED
The gas through the Nord Stream flowed back to Europe, on the one hand Russia kept their word, the stop was planned, so they also put German Berboks, Scholz and other Habeks, hysterical about a complete stop and gas "as a weapon", in their belts.
In short, Russia is a reliable supplier

It's their job to be hysterical now. They are unfortunatelly much too less hysterical. Indeed the "green politics" is so successful as it never had been before. Extremely high costs for heating, housing, living, manufacturing, industry and transport. And the "social politics" for the superrich and a fake-crisis-management is also very "successful": debts, debts, debts and debts. The rich will make a lot of money and the poor will have to pay for. This will solve all problems - or not - combined with appeals to save energy. But fortunatelly the anti-solidarity and warlike mood against Germany from the European nations and NATO-allies will also not help Germany. What a luck that finally Poland has always a good plan how to be the better Germany with the not existing money and the not existing weapons of Germany.

In short, Russia is a reliable supplier

The problem: "Russia" is a criminal gas supplier - but who of all other thinkable gas suppliers is less criminal? And what still also no one knows: Why for heavens sake makes Russia all this damned bloody war nonsense in the Ukraine? Why murder Ruthens Ruthens? This makes absolutelly not any sense - for no one!

It turns out that Russia can do without German automobiles, but Germany can’t do without Russian gas. If the hydrocarbons don’t come back online, Germany will face its greatest economic crisis since World War II. The state will implement emergency rationing plans, which call for starving our lockdown-ravaged industry first, in favour of keeping people alive in their homes.

Probably water will also be rationed as a secondary measure, so that not too much gas is wasted in the heating of it. Some municipalities are already establishing facilities where the elderly, the poor and the sick can sleep in heated rooms on cots in the coldest months.

Ironically or not, many of these warehouses previously served as vaccination centres or had been eyed as places to treat the surge of Corona patients that Germany never quite saw.

The newspapers are suddenly full of advice about the merits of electric space heaters and the costs of installing wood stoves. Fuel, though, is a fungible resource. Natural gas also powers electricity plants, and all you need is a slight increase in demand for wood itself to become scarce.

Concern level about Germany?

Zero

The US needs Germany for its strategic air bases.

Trump moved the headquarter of the European forces of the USA to Belgium - and since Donald Trump had been president of the USA I do not see any longer any problem if all US-American soldiers will leave Germany.
