The counting machines won't let them recount a designated batch, without the counting apparatus being zeroed out for that batch.

The counts for each batch by the machine have to match the number of ballots to be counted in the batch....

If the machine count misses a vote, they have to ZERO OUT the count, and have the machine count the specific batch number of ballots again.

This is what happened, when batches had to be processed again....

You can't run ballots through again and again without the previous batch being zeroed out....you can only have one count for the same batch, and if their lying media just did a little research to inform themselves on procedures before mouthing off, they would not have ruined the lives of these two women, only doing their jobs.
