Is that lump on your head? Check gasbuddy and put in different zips across the nation. But I do concede on Texas and Oklahoma and maybe Mississippi where they may be lower. Hell, gas prices can differ by a few cents just across the street from another gas station.

California is going to see some really high gas prices in the near future regardless of what happens in Iran or Venezuela. The closing of the refineries is going to be a serious increase in transportation costs.

You might not believe this but they cleaned up Alamitos, Junipero, and The Peninsula. Actually got rid of the homeless and the trash. Still have to watch out for getting run over by bicycles or joggers.

I drive for a family-owned oil business, and I can say that it doesn't look like prices for any kind of fuel are going to be getting better anytime soon. Prices at one point jumped 3 times in one day, they're usually updated once every 24 hours. Keep in mind this is in the state of Maine, but from what I'm seeing in this thread it's the same everywhere.

I lived in California for at least 45 yrs. Southern, Northern and Mountain View for 20-ish years. I must have gone over the Golden Gate a thousand times..
