Warmer weather causes the breakdown of the northern jet stream which in turns allows colder air from the arctic south. It's a catch 22. Is this man made or just a naturally warming trend? I have no idea. What I do know is regardless we should be cleaning the environment. If we just did that then why does man made really matter?

First, and most important, we must significantly decrease the human population on the planet. After all, anthropogenic global warming is the result of too much human activity. I suggest that those most adamant that people cease and desist being...well, human, be the first to lead the way. In other words, those who believe that anthropogenic warming is the greatest threat to Earth eliminate themselves first. Their sincerity might persuade others to follow suit.

The issue is whether it is warmer or colder than what may be considered an average temperature for the area.

At the South Pole the average summer temperature is -18F and the average winter temperature is -76F.
