All Those Climate Predictions From The 70's, Al Gore, John Kerry, And A.O.C. Yet, No One Warned Us, Predicted Hurricane Ian?

Climate science warned about bigger hurricanes and more severe damage being done as a result.

Sadly, people in Florida who decide to rebuild are just going to face the same destruction again next year.

Put this warning on your calendar!
We've been warned about developing swamp land too.

Was the 1900 storm that submerged Galveston caused by Climate change.

They should build a sea wall and raise the grade of the entire community.

Hurricanes are a feature of the climate not a sign it's changing. When we don't have Atlantic Hurricanes, then we can confirm the climate is changing.

Devils Advocate.

Agree. It was always only a matter of time when 'the big one' would hit. Noone cared.

Is there any reason why the same won't repeat annually?

Or much worse?

Climate scientists may gauge the potential by the increase in ocean water temperature.

Predictions can again be ignored by those who didn't learn a lesson from Ian.

Note too that Canada's experience has been extraordinary, due to climate change.

The frequency, size, and intensity are all within the range of natural variance. The small amount of warming attributed to man might be contributing slightly, but it is still undetectable. However the prediction are later in this century the Atlantic basin will heat up so much that the heat will prohibits tropical storms. When that happens, knock on my grave.

No, in fact they are not, even though you try to say so by grouping the effects together instead of evaluating them individually.

And of course the extremes of the last ten years or so are proof.
