They both come from the same Satellite and I lost both Fox and CNN for part of the last two days.

IT was sunny here all day and I lost Fox but not CNN.. Only way to watch Fox was the SD. you chould not get HD until a few minutes ago... This has been 2 days in a row. Smells fishy to me right before the elections

I switched to SD and got them back. I guess they were having trouble with the HD signal of both channels.

All channels are carried on the same signal on Direct TV. Also I haven't noticed any outages recently on Fox or otherwise.
