One of my more guilty pleasures in the afternoon is watching Inside Edition, followed by Jeopardy. The reason I like watching Inside Edition is because they regularly show strange and unusual news stories.
Today, apparently, Trump called into FOX and Friends this morning just as the show started, and did an interview with them. For over 50 min from there, he ranted about the impeachment, what he thought of various people, and how unfairly the media was treating him. To their credit, the anchors stuck with him for most of the show, but towards the end, they looked decidedly uncomfortable, and Doocy even remarked that 50 min was a long time to go without a drink of water. The other guy started checking his e-mail live on the air halfway through while Trump was ranting.
Sad thing about this is that FOX and Friends created that monster themselves, because they would always listen attentively to anything that Trump called them up to talk about, so he thinks that he can use them as his own personal media outlet. And, if they were to cut Trump off, or say they had to go to another story, it would be disrespectful to Trump, and would more than likely piss off their viewers.
The really funny thing about the whole deal? During that whole hour this morning, they were unable to take a commercial break, so no revenue was generated for the station from that show.
Gonna be interesting to see how much longer FOX will put up with Trump.
If you want to see the whole unhinged interview, here is the link, if you just want to verify how long it went without watching the whole thing, just read the time window at the bottom of the screen.............................
