On Saturday, Trump made arrangements to replace the September 10 ABC debate he had scheduled with Joe Biden with a September 4 Fox News debate. He cited current litigation with ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos and the change in candidates for the shift.

So Trump backs out of the ABC debate because he was suppose to debate Biden. He uses this excuse not to debate Harris on ABC who is Biden's replacement so instead he wants to debate on FOX

It seems to me he just needs to insist that Stephanopoulos not be on the panel of the debate.
