Four-day workweek, 46% raise: UAW makes 'audacious' demands ahead of possible strike against Big 3 automakers

Rubbish. Their prices are all very close, and the 'competition' is nil. They run a few cheesy 'sales' just to bait people in and hope impulse sales generate more cash flow. Customers are not bargaining over prices. The stores are squeezing producers, and in some cases they own them. WalMart has bankrupted more companies than any other organization, private or public, and did so using predatory pricing practices.
The prices are close due to competition between companies

Corporations were pudhed into china by the politicsl class in washington

Rubbish. The 'political class' and the 'corporate class' are the same class, and they hate populism and 'little people', Republicans and Democrats alike. They're technocrats, and they know better than anybody else how to run things. Never mind how often they fail, since no they just bail out their friends with public money.

They often overlap but are not the same thing

Yes, they are; they are all elitist technocrats. Eisenhower was the last President who wasn't. From JFK onward it's been all about destroying competition and creating huge corporations and central planning.

Yes, just ignore the banks and funds that got most of the bail out money, snivel about the unions. lol they didn't go bankrupt because of the unions, they went bankrupt from poor management and crappy products while Reagan was busy encouraging Japanese dumping.
PolitiFact - Barack Obama says banks paid back all the federal bailout money
Obama assured supporters that of all the fiscal issues facing the nation, the bank bailouts are no longer among them.
"We got back every dime used to rescue the banks," he told the crowd gathered Oct. 18 in Victory Park. "We made that happen."
As of this month, four years have passed since federal lawmakers salvaged some of the nations largest banks with the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. But, now, the question is, how much of the money has the government received back?
But, the fact remains, due to interest, dividends and other revenue streams, the government has received more money back ($266.7 billion, according to the Treasury) than it handed out to banks under the bailout law ($245.2 billion). We rate this claim Mostly True.

In addition to the $50 billion, GM received billions in additional handouts through programs like the incredibly wasteful Cash for Clunkers (which cost taxpayers and used-car and car-parts businesses billions), and $17 billion given to its finance arm, GMAC — which no one expects GM to ever repay.
Cash for Clunkers were the brown turd Obammy's idea and it didnt help anyone. But hey, you loved your shit messiah and how we was going to fundamentally transform America into a 3rd world nation. Now is VP is trying real hard to finish the job. Intelligent people realize this and are turning away from the Marxists, which is why you are such a shrill, pussy, pajama boy, ranting and raving.

Seems like things are swinging back to workers organizing again. We're going to see a growing number of strikes in the next 10 years.

You ignorantly hate the autoworkers, while supporting the 1%.

Are you stupid?
No, but you sound as if you are

Autoworker jobs in blue rustbelt states have been in steady decline during the past decades

Whereas non union states like S Carolina have been growing jobs

Low paying shitty jobs but jobs nonetheless.

You oppose workers being paid fairly, yet have no problem with senior executives making enormous salaries.

WTF!
Define “fair”

GM is moving production to china and mexico due to high production costs and poor productivity in Detroit

How does being unemployed sound to you?

Yes we know you hate average people just trying to eke out a living, yet you love the 1%. Now what could be more stupid?

How about you recognizing the fact big corporations across the board are making big profits. Why do you oppose workers sharing in those profits, while supporting the 1% earning fantastic incomes?

Agreed but the capitalists and their friends in government and media will do all they can to oppose this movement.

Using history as our guide, when this has occurred in the past, the oligarchy often pushes for a big war to shut down worker movements.

The villain for American workers is globalization

And impossible demands by auto unions play into the hands of the globalists
