Indeed, this has been the feeling since Day 1 of the illicit MAL raid.

No wonder we have yet to see Motion to Dismiss. Any lawyers who think about representing Trump are threatened by a powerful and well-funded cabal. The cabal known as the 65 Project.

This is an issue re the warrant being over-broad that will be hotly litigated. Nothing prevented the searching agents from going through each box while on the premises and pulling out documents that matched the description of the items to be seized. There are many pre-computer era cases that held the agents couldn't just haul away a filing cabinet because there might be documents in the filing cabinet covered by the warrant.

It's amazing the things you can get away with when there are no longer any laws that are upheld to defend a defendant. That pendulum has swung about as far as it's going to though...

Warrants must have temporal limitations and must describe "with particularity" the items to be seized. So if you want banking records from 2018 to 2020, and there is a filing cabinet with a late that says "Finance Records 2010 to 2022", the agents can open the cabinet and look through the contents. But they can only take banking records from 2018 to 2020.

There are pre-computer era cases where searches such as that were invalidated because the agents hauled off the filing cabinet and said "We'll search it back at the office." That because an unlawful "seizure" of documents outside the scope of the warrant.

Similarly, the Govt could have gone through the boxes and only taken the documents called out in the warrant. Instead they just took all the boxes. That becomes a "generalized" search and seizure lacking in "particularity," and thereby in violation of the Fourth Amendment.

The entire search is invalidated, not just the items unlawfully seized.

EVERYTHING becomes tainted by the generalized search.

Trump had two lawyers present when his motel was raided. They didn't have any objections.

It has only been the feeling to Trump Humpers, who don't care if their Orange God broke the Law or not.

So I see as long as cheating and using the goverment to go after your political rivalries is okay as long as it's side. Just remember when goverment picks our leaders instead of us, it will be too late?
Actually folks are just tired of hearing you Trump Humpers whine about Hunter Biden, if the dude has broken the law arrest his ass.

When the doj and the fbi is protecting him, that's kinda hard to do. Like I said, if this keeps up. We are going to be under liberal rule. Liberals are already choosing illegals over minorities.

You mean like Senate Republicans did Trump.

Just more of the right wing, bullshit being spewed.
When did the senate protect Trump? They held him back if anything. Why don't you read up a little, just in New York the closed an activity center down and it's helping illegals now. One old woman was complaining about it. Took her meals away. Keep on supporting the liberal agenda. Ask the women about it.
