The fact is, no candidate in history has been subjected to malicious prosecution, weaponized government lawfare as has been directed against Donald J. Trump. It should not EVER be okay to do that to a political opponent and yes, those who did it should face the consequences for that.

But Trump himself has said again and again and again and again that he does not want revenge. He wants it to stop. He never wants a malicious government regime to be able to do to a political candidate what was done to him.

The most dishonest left/Democrats think what was done to him was just fine no matter how unethically, unfairly, unjustly, dishonestly, corruptly, 'dangerous to our democracy' it was done. And they now protest loudly that the worst offenders might get some sort of comeuppance? That Trump is the bad guy if he criticizes/accuses them for what they have actually done? Says what they legitimately deserve?

But he has not and will not call for revenge.

Retribution is putting them out of power, ejecting corrupt deep state operatives from government, and putting people and systems in place to make sure it never happens again.

He can have bitter exchanges with people as happened between him and people like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and Megyn Kelly et al in 2016 and as he did with DeSantis in 2024 and all emerge good friends later. He is completely magnanimous in being able to forgive and forget such things when anybody is willing to meet him half way. Kelly and Cruz actively campaigned for him this year. Rubio will be his Secretary of State. It is rumored that DeSantis is his backup choice for Dept of Defense if the Hegseth nomination doesn't make it.

Revenge simply is not in his DNA.
