If I have to choose between ideology and hard data, I'll go with the data every time.

The data says no-permit carry does not increase homicide rates.

Of the 4 states with the highest murder rates 2 no-permit carry and 2 are permit carry?

The point seems to be the ability to carry does not lower the homicide rate.

Actually, for people who are normal gun owners who are attacked by criminals, it lowers their homicide rate by one....since they can stop the criminal......the criminals who live, and run away.....just find another unarmed victim to murder...you doofus.

That may be true but it means lowering homicide rates is not a reason to weaken gun control measures.

No one is weakening gun control....it is still illegal to use a gun for a crime.........you dope.
