And without all the experience as a successful international businessman who understands how to run the world's largest economy. I love DeSantis and I think he could make a very good president with more experience, perhaps a term as Trump's VP...but characterizing him as "Trump without the baggage" completely overlooks perhaps the most important benefit Trump brings to the table.

You learn a lot if you are a Governor of a state.

For example Joe Biden never had any experience running anything which is part of the reason he is a terrible President. Biden didn’t even have a military experience where he could have learned something about leadership.

All Joe Biden ever did before becoming Obama’s VP (a nothing job) was produce hot air in Congress. He undoubtedly contributed to Global Warming.
