Five Women Sue Texas Over States Abortion Ban

Whenever I meet a new friend who has children, one of my first questions is how old are they. No one has ever given me the dates their human embryo was conceived ( because that's impossible at the present time ) but rather the date they were born into this world. You are the one who is quibbling with very specific definitions. You should never allow your emotions to interfere with your critical thinking.
In many asian cultures they add nine months and use that for their age

Its still the same person with its own unique and immutable DNA from conception to death

So you're suggesting our free society should abandon critical thinking in exchange for eastern mythological beliefs. That's not even practical, and most likely very prejudicial. The human embryo is called a fetus, there's a reason we use scientific terms instead of emotional ones such as child. Please name the Asian culture that adds 9 months to their actual birthdate. What if they were born premature ? Again. It's not practical.

Asians knew that life begins at conception

You are the one denying reality

The women, backed by an abortion-rights group ....

he women who are bringing the suit contradict stereotypes about who receives abortions and why.
lol no doubt. No reason to pick 'typical women', as that wouldn't have any drama and propaganda value to mislead juries with.

In the Jewish Faith, Abortion is allowed. It will be interesting to see how the religious aspect plays out. One would there would a religious exemption for those Women who faith allows abortion.

Rubbish. Some Jewish sects allow it, others don't. You're full of shit as usual.

Do you realize most genetic mutations ( which are not condusive to life ) do not show up until the 30 th.week checkup. No woman waits that long to have an abortion. These are necessary.
Genetic mutations not compatible with life by definition result in a natural death.

If they are going to die anyway, killing them by definition is NOT necessary. Moron.

They're going to win. Big time.

It’s literally impossible.

There is no legal mechanism for their frivolous lawsuit.

Abortion is not a right, not in Texas under its Constitution, and Dobbs just clarified about the USC for anyone too stupid to need that clarification.

The state can ban it, and should ban it more harshly than it currently does.

Eat the whole bag of dicks, pro-aborts.

You could theoretically add 9 months to your age, but society has just traditionally celebrated birthdays.

Was a person different one day before they were born, or just the location?

The women who are bringing the suit contradict stereotypes about who receives abortions and why. Married, and some with children already, the women rejoiced at their pregnancies, only to discover that their fetuses had no chance of survival — two had no skulls, and two others were threatening the lives of their twins.

Though they faced the risk of hemorrhage or life-threatening infection from carrying those fetuses, the women were told they could not have abortions, the suit says. Some doctors refused even to suggest the option, or to forward medical records to another provider.

The women found themselves furtively crossing state borders to seek medical treatment outside Texas, worried that family and neighbors might report them to state authorities. In some cases, the women became so ill that they were hospitalized. One plaintiff, Amanda Zurawski, was told she was not yet sick enough to receive an abortion, then twice became septic, and was left with so much scar tissue that one of her fallopian tubes is permanently closed.

“You don’t think you’re somebody who’s going to need an abortion, let alone an abortion to save my life,” Ms. Zurawski, 35, said. “If anybody reads my story, I don’t care where they are on the political spectrum, very few people would agree there is anything pro-life about this.”

Last years elections cost Republicans big losses. Next year isn't going to be any better for them.
No state with an abortion ban can restrict the travel of women across state lines for any reason.

You're not being honest.

Jews' views on abortion largely depend on how observant they are and their denominational affiliation (Orthodox, Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, etc.).

But there is widespread agreement among scholars and rabbinical authorities that a complete prohibition on abortion is inconsistent with Jewish law and tradition. Under Jewish law, an abortion to save the life of the mother is permitted

Finally, I knew this was going to happen. I don't understand why it didn't happen sooner. It's time to do away with all these egregious abortion laws. That's the whole reason the compromise by the courts instating Roe versus Wade occurred in the first place.

Its coming. The majority of the country, including a majority of Republicans have had all of the radical rights shit they can stomach.
