First Trump Military Raid = FUBAR

This is so sad.

I know and just think Obama killed her brother, so sad. Right?

Notice none of them have said word one about the dead Navy SEAL. I feel for his death and what his relatives must be going through. But I couldn't care less about the dead kid of a terrorist. A girl who would have grown up to be a slave in the death cult.

The Navy SEAL was a foreign combatant who was paid to be there. The little girl wasn't. It was her home.

Oh so you're okay with the death of a US Navy SEAL but are bent out of shape over the death of a terrorists kid??

Guess we can al see who you support.

The closest Red Bull has ever been to battle was when he watched a movie about Custer, his input is irrelevant.

NBC News reports that the raid in Yemen was conducted by the super-secret Joint Special Operations Command. The purpose of the attack was to capture computer equipment from al Qaeda, which the United States officially called gathering “information that will likely provide insight into the planning of future terror plots.” An official told NBC, “Almost everything went wrong.”

Several SEALs were injured when the MV-22 Osprey bringing them to the site landed badly, and the aircraft had to be destroyed. SEAL Team 6 member Chief Petty Officer William “Ryan” Owens was killed in the ensuing gunfire. Several noncombatants were killed, though the exact number is in debate. One of those shot was an 8-year-old American girl named Nawar al-Awlaki, sometimes called Nora. Nora’s father was Anwar al-Awlaki, a man born in New Mexico who was killed by a drone strike in 2011. Anwar al-Awlaki was considered by the U.S. military to be a major threat, and perhaps the successor to Osama Bin Laden.

Pentagon officials state that 14 were killed in the raid and “numerous” civilians. Nora’s grandfather and Yemen’s former agriculture minister, Nasser al-Awlaki, stated that the number being circulated in Yemen put the number of people dead at 59. He described the scene to NBC News:

Good job, Lord Coraldemort.
You do know that during the raid that killed OBL a highly classified helo crashed and had to be destroyed ? Also if you want to talk screw ups there is the Jimmy Carter hostage rescue attempt which is the very essence of FUBAR.
This was a good OP and if chicken shit terrorist didn't use "civilians" as shields then this wouldn't be an issue.

What else could one expect from Trump?

Gotcha, Tonto, Trump planned the raid, it's his fault

Mechanical mishap with the Osprey I guess . Raid musta been needed and I suppose that that's why the raid was ordered by the President Trump if he ordered it . Sorry about the little girl , that being said her parents and relatives shouldn't have had her in harms way hanging around with the enemy . Seems though that more enemy was killed than Americans so that's a win isn't it Pillars .

There is no "win" when an innocent 8-year-old girl is shot to death. Period.

Ahh but she was 3 years older than the possible terrorist a day earlier...

Nice! You've been studying quoting, that was correct. Well done. Now just remember you don't quote paraphrases and you're set.

I do agree with you though that calling it a "win" isn't the best terminology, though I don't think he meant it that way

Yuh huh. So your lame speculation fallacy equates to something actually happening, and therefore "hypocrisy". Over something that does not exist.

You need a head doctor.

The shape of things to come?

Something went terribly wrong in President Trump's first military raid

The Pentagon has identified the Navy SEAL killed in last Saturday's raid on a militant compound in Yemen as Chief Special Warfare Operator William "Ryan" Owens, 36. Between three and six other U.S. personnel were injured in the chaotic raid.

Things started going wrong for U.S. forces immediately, The Washington Post reported Tuesday night. They encountered fierce resistance as soon as they landed in the village of Taklaa, outside a heavily guarded AQAP compound. Officials called in backup, and helicopter gunships and Harrier jets struck the compound, before a Special Ops team arrived to evacuate the U.S. commandos and their wounded

Sources tell ABC's Martha Raddatz that AQAP seemed to know the Americans were coming:

The issue seems to be poor intelligence and poor execution

We expect resistance when we have a raid
What we don't expect is to have them waiting for us when we land

It's absurd to blame the administration for the mission going sideways.

Military command worked up the plan and the Seals executed it. .....

MV-22 crash lands during SEAL raid in Yemen
One US Navy SEAL died of wounds sustained from a firefight at the compound, according to the office of the secretary of defense. Although the raid marks one of the first casualties under the Trump administration, the operation had been planned for months, OSD reports.
The three special operations commandos were wounded in a separate incident at the compound, when the MV-22 experienced a hard landing.
“The aircraft did not take enemy fire and did not go down because of hostile action against it,” a US Central Command spokesman wrote in an email to FlightGlobal. “The aircraft was determined to be un-flyable and was then destroyed in place by US forces.”
