Well, when the Capitol police confer with the House and Senate sergeants at arms about the prospect of accepting the offer of national guard assistance, and the latter reject the offer (presumably after consulting the Speaker of the House, etc.), it isn’t a surprise to me that the “defense” was so shabby.

Again, my sympathy lies with the Capitol police and I harbor no respect for the ones who assaulted any of them.

If a state “certified” an election result despite election fraud that succeeded in deciding which candidate had won, would that certification have been binding?
