Personally, I wish that the First Lady would NOT campaign for her husband or anyone else.

I think that any First Lady is about the only person that many Americans (of both parties) can admire in this deeply divided nation.

Any First Lady should play her role as a non-controversial person: Stand next to her husband on formal occasions, wear beautiful clothes, and utter harmless words about worthy causes.

(Although I admired Mrs. Obama for encouraging more healthful eating, I lost respect for her when she occasionally told audiences how she had allegedly been mistaken for a servant at certain times in her life.)
