I hope the EU doesn't take this offer. I don't trust google to properly regulate themselves. If they were going to do that, they already would have done it.
The only thing google cares about is money and the last thing they are going to do is regulate themselves if it will cost ad money.
The big tech companies are too big and too powerful.
Proper regulation needs to be imposed on them.
I know that an anti trust investigation has been done here but I don't think anything has come of it.
This is a very big problem.
It's what the founders feared would happen if people become filthy rich. They have the power to buy the laws they want and keep it that way.
It needs to stop.
