It's the expected blowback that usually comes within a couple of hours of them hearing the facts, and their uneasy feelings of that which can't be denied. Let's revisit the list that's put a burr in Americans' asses.

Two parent families- Over 50% odds of divorce, leads to .....................
Two genders- politically motivated to deny the science
Free markets- Needing trade war tariffs to prop it up.
Capitalism- Within the confines of Fascism
Strong defense; Military offense stalled out by a superior foe.
Equal rights not DEI- unequal rights propelled by endemic racism.
The Electoral College not majority votes- A system that can be manipulated so easily.
Merit defines success Lack of success against a more than capable foe.
Limited government- A president making all decisions.
Secure borders-- No effective attempts to stop cheap labour.
Enforce laws against criminals- Taking the side of criminals who are guilty of treason!
Gender separate bathrooms- Open discrimination against life choices of their fellow Americans.
Everything democrats oppose- Democratic freedoms opposed by both leftist and rightist extremists.

And a lack of consciousness in being able to understand and accept the rise of a fascist dictatrship.

That doesn’t make you an American citizen because your parent(s) don’t qualify as being under the jurisdiction of this country (other than being susceptible to prosecution for crimes and so forth). But they don’t owe any allegiance to this land.

And if you don’t grasp the significance of that, I understand. But I don’t feel a compelling need to be your tutor at the moment. Plus, I’ve heard it said that “we learn best that which we learn on our own.”

An American is of course an American citizen.

But a REAL American loves America and is culture, its traditions, its symbols such as the flag and the National Anthem.

A REAL American embraces the beliefs and concepts embodied in the Declaration of Independence, appreciates the debates and arguments to be found in the founding documents, respects the effect and intent of the Constitution. And real Americans support the MAGA vision of a strong, free, secure, prosperous America where all citizens without respect to class, demographics, designated groups enjoy that their unalienable rights are respected and secured and enjoy the maximum reasonable liberty, choices, options, opportunity.

If you ask the British, the stereotype of an American is a combination of obsessed, overweight, loud, arrogant, gun mad, and never left his/her own borders. Those are some that crop up in conversation. As Al Murray said, "We don't have an American dream, because we're awake".

I remember a conversation I was having with a lib, in real life.

He mentioned his mother, a naturalized immigrant from latin America, who was against some illegals indians coming in from Mexico.


He quoted her as saying something along the lines of


"WE can take in everyone".


That is what I am talking about. That is an AMERICAN.

She, despite supposedly being the same race as the illegals, she IDENTIFIED WITH ME, as a group, that group being AMERICANS.


She was deciding her position on the issue, not as a HISPANIC but as a CITIZENS OF THIS NATION, who was loyal to the other citizens of the nation and felt a responsiblity to consider their interests in matters of national policy.



If a person can look at me and see a fellow American that he has some sense of loyalty to, because of our shared membership in the group, AMERICA, then I am thinking that he or she is an American.
