Zone1 Exactly WHAT is an American to you?

It's a free country, you can leave at any time.
As can you. Not that your reply was on topic or even responsive to my post.

If you’d stop lying, I wouldn’t keep pointing out your lies, Goonblow.

More to the point what is "anti American" what is "un American" conduct?

To my mind it is a person who has a disdain, contempt for American institutions, traditions and social values like equal rights for all members of society and so on.

Two parent families
Two genders
Free markets
Capitalism
Strong defense
Equal rights not DEI
The Electoral College not majority votes
Merit defines success
Limited government
Secure borders
Enforce laws against criminals
Gender separate bathrooms
Everything democrats oppose
This is a pretty good list.

But while I think most honorable Americans will embrace all of that and more, a real American embraces the Founder's concept of a nation in which the government's role was to enforce sufficient laws that the various states could function as one cohesive nation and not do violence to each other.

That government would provide the common defense, promote the general welfare--that would be EVERYBODY'S welfare and not doling out freebies to special groups--and to secure the rights of the people so that they could form whatever sorts of societies they wish to have. The people would live as they want to live and would have liberty to think, believe, speak, worship, have opinions short of violating the unalienable rights of others without reprisal from their government.

Americans are technically citizens of America. But honorable Americans embrace all of the above and understand the Founder's unique concept of a government of, for and by the people. That government would do only what it absolutely had to do to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities and otherwise the people would govern themselves.

Hmmm... lets see...

Do you think Trump is a "Honorable American”? He’s a thrice married philanderer, whoremonger, convicted felon, who as President routinely goes well beyond government’s role.

Why that is almost as bad as a Texican politician who redraws he district to cheat a little, then complains about another state doing the same, cheating a little.

Sure, take away land that other people possessed by hook or crook, and then claim to be righteous.

The Founders were rebels, smugglers, anti-royalists, and killers...why can't we be the same without it being a crime?

I suppose it means anybody born or naturalized here and that is about it for me. It is not something I think about except in terms of rights. I mean Cuba and Canada are both closer to me than California so there is really no reason outside defending my own rights that I should think of Californians as somehow more than those who play hockey or roll cigars.
