Evidence That Moses Existed

DID MOSES EXIST
What about the archeological evidence against the Exodus? For instance, there were Jews living in Israel all during this period and their settlements show no evidence of any influx of peoples. Certainly 600,000+ would have made a huge impact.

Here is a balanced and entertaining video on the exodus.
Nice. My personal take is there was a oral tradition based on a real event. Jews, freed slaves or mercenaries, at some point a community of them left, it might has started as simply as that. It was given enhanced prominence during the Babylonian exile because those Jews intended to someday return and wanted the tradition of accepting exiles to be known to the Jews that remained in Israel during the exile.

The 600,000 number is highly susoect. it depends on the Hebrew word "elef". It can mean thousand, but it can aslo mean a small unit, closer to 10. So 6,000 is also a likely number.

I'd say 60 men is more likely. With women and children, a few hundred at most.
