For the record: He never said it and he never will.

Still, i hope there is a reckoning. I'd be disappointed if there isn't.
I can appreciate the sentiment but Trump is right. Revenge only serves to justify retaliation and it goes on and on and on and on. He wants it all to stop with him. The reckoning will be if those people are never allowed to hold their heads up without shame and and never allowed any kind of power again.

People who willfully committed crimes need to go to prison, or it will happen again.

Right

It’s not what Trump says

It’s what his minions claim he means
no, it is what he actually says that you can't quite understand because you are far too ignorant to read and listen to english and the meaning. Again, the OP is quite clear, and so far, no one has posted anything related to the OP. It's in the details stupid.

There has to be some kind of right thing to do in all this. Yelling begets yelling. Incivility begets incivility. Revenge causes the other to return revenge for revenge. Hate begets hate. Etc. Yes nobody is above the law, but there are times that a bit of magnanimous can go a long way to cool all the yelling, incivility, revenge, hate etc.

So I don't know what the answer is. If there were crimes committed that cannot be overlooked, I would suspect a competent DOJ/FBI would look at that if it was in their jurisdiction. But that is a very different thing than Trump going after or exacting revenge on his political opponents, even those who did every unethical thing in the book to take him down.

Another Trumpster trying to ignore facts by playing the ‘out of context” dodge.

Dishonest, pathetic, and lazy.
There are none so dishonest as those who do not appreciate and apply proper context.

state the fact! No one has said Trump hasn't said the word retribution, what is in discussion is the meaning of the word in his statements. OP is still waiting.

Though I get your vibe, it's a mistaken pattern of the old right: ill advised mercy.

The reason we went through all of the mess of the last eight years, is because those perpetrating the worst of it have been allowed to get away with it for decades...There's no shrugging it off anymore.....Spare the rod, spoil the child.

People need to go to prison.

correct, however, because we do inject logic and common sense, they need to do this with fact based evidence. Not like the hyped up nonsense brought in against trump supporters and trump. This has to be done right with the correct solutions. If all it is firing them, I'm good with that, stop them from sucking on the tax payer.

What the fuck do you think retribution means?

it has many meanings. One could have retribution by winning an election. Is that somehow evil? However, Trump has not stated he seeks retribution for what has been done to him, again, is the discussion point. So, feel free to post a video where he says he seeks retribution for his injustices. That is the meaning from the demofks messaging.

And pigs “could” fly

No one is fooled

Absolutely.

Look it up and get back to us troll
it has your meaning on the internet? I doubt it, so you have no input into what you think it means. I have to be a wizard and mind reader to know. wow.

Don't care about you narratives, we FIRED YOU MARXIST ASSHOLES.
GFY
:dev3:

Just answer the question. Does any of that I listed in post #37 sound like something a Republican president should do? And/or something Republican voters would support?

We should but I don't know if we could.

I don't know if you and I and several others on this forum are being heard in the Whine House.

I confess.

I think that we who "fall into that lesser of two evils propaganda" consider the alternative ... and we shy away from a full-blown armed revolution. It is true that I (as a Vietnam War Veteran Against the war) did manage to scare the shit out of the government and bring the boys home WITHOUT needing to take up arms against Washington but this is 2025 and I'm too old to fight.

The moment we lose sight of how far left Trump has taken the party, is the exact moment we fall for the lesser of two evils propaganda.
There's a reason why we check the oil before starting the engine.
There's a reason why we fix the leak in our own boat before we use it.
A reason why we put air in the tires before we drive the car.
Regardless of how bad the other party is, we must get our back in working order before considering anything else.

Republican voters have stopped doing preventive maintenance, and the party is only getting worse. All they seem to care about now is winning the election. And not who (in their party) is going to win it. With Romney, the identity politics was bad. With Trump, it's extremely bad.
"Who's electable" should be the last thing Republicans worry about.

Seriously, you can't fix a vehicle with so many problems, and drive it at the same time.
