Let us take several examples:
A Child with Harlequin Fetus-
While survivable (JournalLive - News - Today's News - Little Ellie really is one in a million... , Man Survives Rare Skin-Shedding Disease - Staying Healthy News Story - KGTV San Diego) HtI is usually fatal (only recently has survival really been possible) and arguably among the worst of birth defects
A Child with severe mental retardation
A Child with primordial dwarfism
A Braindead individual in a hospital
Someone in a permanent coma
Someone with a disease or other condition that causes them great pain or suffering yet who will lie for some time left to their own devices and who is unable to communicate
Is it acceptable to euthanasia any of these persons at any time? Why or why not?
