FDR didn't "conduct" the experiment. The Tuskegee Study started in 1932 and continued until 1972. FDR didn't become President until 1933 and he had bigger things on his plate than a badly designed study.

There was no treatment for syphilis when it started. Even when Penicillin was introduced, it was not believed to be effective for people who were infected for years.

If you focus solely on the fact that they owned slaves and nothing more then the perspective youget is that they were extremelyracist, evil men. That is why ALL History, details, and context means everything.

Our Founding Fathers were extremely intelligent, courageous men who sought to make the United States a free and independent nation, and despite slaverybeing prevelant at the time, these men to whom we owe the very existnce of this country, fought for indepencence, defeated the British, forged a nation, and authored the greatest Constitution in the world's history, one that laid the foundation for a nation unequalled for 244 years, one that was never supposed to staystagnant / as-is but continue to grow as per the core guiding principles and beliefs, such as 'ALL MEN ARE CREATD EQUAL'.
- This MASSIVE, historic, accomplishment can NOT be minimized simplyby saying 'They owned slaves, thus they were evil men who should be wiped from pur history, forgotten for all time, to be shunned and not celebrated. Good Lord, NO!

For all of their faults they forged a nation out of oppressed colonies and, again, authored the greatest Constitution the world has ever known and helped build the greatest, most powerful nation the world has ever known.

To simply declare the United States is an Evil nation is to completelyand intentionally ignore the fact that the United has come to the aid of the world during timers of war, disaster, and need. The United states is the most generous nation in the world. We have saved nations / continents / the world against threats such as in WWI / WW2, we have rescued people from genocidal oppressive torturous rule, given and protected freedoms to those who seek it, fed and clothed the world...

And despite everything wrong with the United States, despite the division, corruption, and turmoil people all over the world continue to risk everything to cme here.

We are not defined by the sins of our past but by freedom and the promise of opportunity.

The ironic thing is the Socialists and anarchists who want to end our system of democratic government that has lasted for 244 years do not seem to realize that the rioting, looting, destruction, burning, assaulting, mrdering, and open dissention against the government would not be toleraed - IS not tolerated - by the very nations funding them and inspiring / influencing their actions here.

It is the Constitution and the Constitutional Rights created by our Founding Fathers that gives them the freedom and ability to peacefully protest and say whatever they want to say. It is the achievements of our Founding Fathers that protects them from oppression, from being arrested, jailed, tortured, or put to death.
- Many of these protestors / domestic terrorists are exercising the very Constitutional Rights of Free Speech, Right To peacefully Assemble that the Founding Fathers created, that they would not have if it were not for the Founding Fathers, to ATTACK the Founding Fathers.

The Fonding Fathers are far more than 'Slave Owners', as those attempting to destroy this nations culture, who seek rewrite our nation's history, and who seek to redefine this nation based solely on focusing on the negative / the 'sins' of the past of a growing nation.

Declaring the United States is an evil country because 200+ years ago owning slaves was legal, and declaring the Founding Fathers are evil because they owned slaves, as I explained, is one of the dumbest things anyone has ever said since this nation was founded 244 years ago.

That's like me declaring that you are now and forevermore a POS because you once stole something, that every good deed youyaccomplished in your life, the historic, monumental good thatyoumay have done that changed the world for the better means nothing, should be ignored, and we should just focus on the fact thatyouare a thief....yet that only applies to those who seek to underminbe and destroy this country.
