Avoiding the We the People (via Congress) Obama's FCC classifies the internet as a public utility, a trojan horse for unrestrained censorship against "hate speech."

It passed just this hour in a 3-2 vote.

Good to know that chief lobbyist for the bill was appointed by Obama (and funded by George Soros) to lead the new regulations.

It's sad how Dem voters in their blind hate for Bush gave us something so much worse.

Just add this to the quick and never ending growing list of "imagine if Bush did this!"

Dems better hope they don't get a Republican President in 2016 who WILL abuse this.... Something Dems like Obama would never even think to do...

And how does this relate to "censorship" then? When has FCC censored anything?

:eusa_whistle:

Maybe you're fixated on the wrong Amendment.

For that matter, how does this action "circumvent Congress"? Congress actually created the FCC.

You know that, right?

Yup... NET NEUTRALITY... but if you think since republicans have openly stated that they have taken IMPEACHMENT OFF THE TABLE, that Barry is going to stop with that, then you have another thing coming.

obama is JUST GETTING STARTED. He has TWO MORE YEARS to KILL AMERICA as we know it... "FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATIOIN."

This anti American TURD is the DEVIL INCARNATE.

Pogo... really?

Do you remember this?

"If you like your doctor, you'll be able to keep your doctor, period." - obama

Net Neutrality is the ACA for the internet.

Now think...

ACA has nothing to do with FCC.
That's three.

It hasn't been able to, it can now, that's the point.
Ah, so it comes from the speculation fallacy of your own as-we-know-by-now unhinged imagination.

Four.[/QUOTE]

It shouldn't bother you, since the push behind FCC by liberals like you was also a speculation.

"IF WE DONT PASS NET NEUTRALITY NOW ALL THESE PROBLEMS MIGHT HAPPEN"

You made a massive push to fix "problems that might happen"

You fixed something that wasn't broken, and it comes with classfying the internet a public utility.

OK I'll give you that, that's speculation fallacy reasoning. But so is most legislation.

Now -- where in this action does FCC award itself censorship powers for the first time in its 81-year history? Which it doesn't have the power to do by the way....

The lawsuits will start. Last time the FCC tried to do this the D.C. Court of Appeals struck it down citing lack of authority.

Will the death panels be doing the censorship?

Oh my God... are you going to play this? Did I say it DID have something to do with the FCC?

Now having to REPEAT myself, I SAID... "net neutrality is the ACA for the internet," MEANING, that now the government can REGULATE, HOW, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY... WHATEVER THEY WANT about the internet, JUST LIKE THE ACA CAN REGULATE HEALTH CARE, and if you think that they won't do it without POLITICAL PREJUDICE, then you need your head examined, brother. That's why I said "THINK." It's ALL POLITICAL. It's the DEMOCRATS WET DREAM of being able to SHUT DOWN WEBSITES LIKE the DRUDGE REPORT. That's what this is, PERIOD.

Such delightful meltdowns from the fanatical pro-censorship Republicans here.

What hope do Republicans have left if they can't get their corporate masters to censor all contrary opinions? The Republicans here know they're screwed if they don't have the power to censor, which explains all the weeping we're now hearing from them.
