The Republicans would be insane to even entertain this idea, the moment they do they've just shown that they can be held hostage by the Democrats over complete nonsense. These were COVID emergency subsidies for a bill that was sold as MAKING HEALTH INSURANCE MORE AFFORDABLE, the subsidies clearly demonstrate that the ACA boondoggle only works by making it more expensive for the people that actually contribute, not to mention the fact that it was Democrats that set the expiration date in the first place.

As I said, I don't know what happens if the ACA dies.
Would the working poor just go uninsured and go for Medicaid if they need care?

Option-A. Nuke the filibuster for funding CR's and Appropriations Bills and end this nonsense once and for all

Option-B. Keep the shutdown going and have Russ Vought let go of 50% of the Executive Branches workforce. Personally I prefer option B.

I'm not an expert in healthcare insurance like the ACA or Medicaid. I've always had employer coverage.

However, MTG, who is a hard nosed Republican, thinks that the ACA should be saved.
