Emmanuel Macron: No longer self imposed redlines. Moscow empire must be defeated and no action...

France admits it cannot handle security during the Olympics alone
Paris has asked 46 countries to provide more than 2,000 foreign law enforcers to ensure security at the Olympics.
The request was sent to EU countries, South Korea, South Africa, India, Australia and other countries.

I remember Macron was going to send the military to Ukraine not so long ago....

Actually, no. After the first Russian counter-force strike they will have only one SSBN Triomphant-class survived max. 16 missiles, 80 warheads. Definitely not enough to overwhelm Moscow's ABD, and, may be, not enough to overwhelm AD of Saint-Petersbourg, Sevastopol or Kaliningrad. They will be able to destroy some smaller and less defended cities like Smolensk or Kursk.

And anyway, back in 1812 Napoleon burn down Moscow, but lost the war.

The French military retains less than 300 operational nuclear warheads, while Russia keeps close to 6,000 stockpiled warheads for operational forces. If Russia's nukes are unleashed by any chance, Russia has more than enough to destroy Europe entirely.

Mr. Blinken, why did the U.S. drop two atomic bombs on Japan in '45?
Japan didn't want to surrender, even though it had no chance of winning.
So it's the same situation as it is now with Ukraine?

The Russian had liberated Tonenkoye (Tonenke), Orlovka, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye and continue their advance.
