Why do you hate fiscal conservatism?
Masse has a job lined up at Foxsnews
He won’t wind up at CNN or MSNBCDoubtful
Massie is a fiscal conservative as well as an evidently very sincere principled conservative legislator. However, as much as I like him, I also have some reservations.
Since our system of government is largely out of alignment, it takes great effort to address our everyday needs while simultaneously working to retune that damaged system.
Therefore, as much as it pains me to have to concede it, there are some very good reasons to agree with efforts (like what President Trump is attempting) to settle for half a loaf while that work is under way.
Massie’s principled dedication to Constitutional methodology does have an impact on (and works against) the long term goals of that President Trump is trying to obtain.
So Massie has been trying to do what Trump and his RINO's promised to do, and is getting primaried by Trump and the RNC.
Elon who left DOGE because the RINO's were trying to spend even more than Biden, and is now being cancelled by Trump and his RINO's.
I don't get why Trump supporters haven't thrown Trump and Johnson under the bus for lying to them. And why they're so against Massie, when all he's tried to do is what Trump promised to do, to begin with.
Elon Musk indicates he'll donate to Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican who has been excoriated by Trump
President Trump has indicated he will campaign against Massie
Business tycoon Elon Musk indicated that he will donate to Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky.
Massie, a fiscal hawk who was one of the two House Republicans who voted against the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that cleared the House of Representatives in May, also labeled President Donald Trump's strikes against Iran last month as "not Constitutional."
"Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame! And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth," Musk declared in a post on X.
Former Rep. Justin Amash replied by urging Musk to back Massie.
"Please support @RepThomasMassie. The establishment is working to primary him because he’s a genuine fiscal conservative and opposes the Big, Bloated Scam," Amash wrote.
"I will," Musk replied.
How's Massie going to spin being a fiscal hawk while embracing an endorsement from Musk who receives a shit ton of government subsidies?

In other words, you're fine with bankrupting the country and destroying the USD, because recovery would take too long.
If 90% of the GOP were like Massie, we'd get out of this mess a lot faster. Kicking the can is never a solution.
Wrong. Those are your words. They aren’t “other” words for anything I suggested, you idiot. In other words, you're fine with bankrupting the country and destroying the USD, because recovery would take too long.
You’re quite simplistic. The problem is massive and it ain’t gonna get fixed overnight. Huge problems take time to address. And one of the problems is that no cure can possibly work if the disruptions it will cause result in the abandonment of the effort to use it.If 90% of the GOP were like Massie, we'd get out of this mess a lot faster. Kicking the can is never a solution.
Easy. Our government has always wasted money on space crap. Biden did it. Trump did it.
Elon being opposed to the government massively increasing the spending, has very little to do with his NASA contracts. In fact, Elon will still do the space thing if NASA cuts him completely off.
But how are the Trump supporters going to reconcile getting rid of Massie for trying to do what Trump promised to do? Especially when Trump has been lying about all those spending cuts?
Good men, both of them.So Massie has been trying to do what Trump and his RINO's promised to do, and is getting primaried by Trump and the RNC.

So what has Massie done to win over the 90%? Playing the "if" game is just another way of kicking the can down the road.
