Elon Musk: "If you need a school, you've lost already"

The issue with higher education in this country is it doesn't promote the degrees we need as opposed to the ones that really only have use for people in very limited academic fields, and degrees that lead to nothing but government grifting.
we are not a collective, but the Department of labor does publish publications of prospective jobs that will have a high or lower need.

Promoting is not forcing, so drop the Borg reference.

We are talking high tech, not Disney.

It's all the same. I worked with some amazing engineer's. It wouldn't be cheap to draw them away though. Musk doesn't want to pay up.

I am an engineer, and I work with many white people in engineering, IT, programming, and communications. In 1980, I studied the government's recommendations for needed trades and careers and decided on engineering. The college programs were slow and outdated. but in the military, they were straightforward, advance,d and quick to teach.

Musk doesn't pay software engineer's well?

Do you have any data to back that up?

I'm sure Tesla and SpaceX also pay very competitive salaries.

While I might agree that a number of companies do hire just to lower costs.
We have a number of people going to college and getting degrees in things that really are not worth the trouble.
They have phds in old English manuscripts. I would not be surprised if someone had a doctorate in Peruvian basket weaving. Then they wonder why they have troubles finding high paying jobs.

Well then, take it or leave it.
No, I think i will just mock you like the retard you are. Maybe stop making inaccurate posts just to troll people. What is with your fucking obsession with trolling anyway? Youre fuckin weird man. :cuckoo:

Again, got data to back that up?
Yes, Elon Musk has used outsourcing in a number of ways, including:

  • Hiring remote AI tutors
Musk's xAI initiative is looking for remote AI tutors from around the world to train language algorithms. Musk is offering a competitive rate of $35–$65 per hour.

  • Recruiting international engineers
Musk has said that he wants to grow the tech industry by recruiting engineers from other countries. He posted on X that there is a shortage of "talented" engineers in the U.S.

  • Laying off outsourced content moderators at Twitter
After Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion, he laid off thousands of outsourced content moderators. Some contractors said they were concerned that there would be an increase in abuse on Twitter.

  • Outsourcing at SpaceX
While Musk has championed vertical integration across his companies, SpaceX does outsource some work. For example, SpaceX outsources the fabrication of OLM tower segments to offsite contractors.

The academic pipelines have too much pull, and they lead only to jobs in those academic fields, and those jobs are limited.

Then you have the "studies" type degrees that lead to advocacy jobs in social justice grifts.

How about compared to other Auto Manufacturers, which is what Tesla actually is?

Were you trying to be slick, or are you that ignorant?

Tesla's median employee pay vs. the median American in 2018 is surprising

It's actually in the middle for the auto industry.
Are Tesla's built in China?

The speed of Tesla's production shows the high quality and efficiency of China's manufacturing capabilities to produce products that are in high demand internationally. Tesla said that its Shanghai Gigafactory is a key global export hub and production base, playing a vital role in China's manufacturing sector.

Some work, getting rid of biased moderators.

All of this isn't specific to Musk.

The study was about the American workforce, and it's comparison to the median American income.

Bringing up China is just deflection.
