Historically yes but that’s because that’s what previous administrations have emphasized. Obama never tried to deport illegal aliens from the interior unless they committed a more serious crime.

Due process, for what? Telling an illegal immigrant they are not welcome and escorting them out of the country is not in any way, shape, or form worthy of due process.

If they are not charged with anything, they should be able to be escorted out without any type of hearing.

Due process is given if they apply for asylum and meet border agent's criteria and are given a court date for a hearing by an immigration judge, to determine the facts and make a legal ruling on whether they truly qualify as an asylum seeker, under our laws on it.

But the ones screened by border agents who do not meet the asylum seeking criteria, they get deported without due process in a court hearing.

Almost 50% of border crossing encounters did not qualify for asylum seeking, and were deported....(if they were not unaccompanied children...who got to stay, I believe...). (title 42 helped deportations too)
