Claiming Asylum doesn't mean they are here legally, it only means they are CLAIMING it. Our laws let them stay until they can be investigated as to the viability of their claim. The big problem is that Biden let in too many millions to check all those claims. What Biden did was treasonous, IMO. People who have pending asylum claims are legally permitted to remain in the country until that process is completed.

At the founding, slaves were denied their human rights, (mostly b/c the southern reps did not consider them fully human.) We have since amended the constitution, to recognize that they do. The court has ruled, that so do children.
