Yes, I know that "sophist" is a noun. Here's what YOU posted: "You got the wrong cracker to try and sophist today, you leftist puke!" The only way to parse that sentence is to assume that "sophist" is a verb -- but it's not. As you yourself posted, it's a noun. So why did you use it as a verb? I think it's because English is not your first language. Maybe your first language is Russian, maybe it's Chinese, maybe it's even North Korean. But no American would EVER use "sophist" the way you did. If you really ARE an American, prove it.
