Dr. Fauci: There's No Reason People Can't Vote Safely in Person

After they have been telling us that Fauci is infallible, watch all the TDS morons scramble to claim Fauci is wrong now that they've been trying to justify mail-on voting:

One of the most highly contentious issues of the 2020 presidential cycle is whether it will be safe for Americans to vote in person on November 3, 2020.
For weeks Democrats have held up crucial Wuhan coronavirus relieve packages while demanding billions of dollars for the Post Office in order to bolster mass mail in voting. In California, a state without voter identification laws and outdated registration records, Governor Gavin Newsom plans to mail every registered voter a ballot ahead of election day. Recent elections in New York, New Jersey and West Virginia have proven mass mail in voting schemes lead to fraud and extremely delayed results.
But according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, an original member of President Trump's Wuhan Coronavirus Taskforce, voting in person can be done safely.
"What about voting? So many people are concerned. We are in an election year. Some people are going to be heading to the polls in the next few weeks, can people go out and vote in person given there is so much concern about the vote?" ABC News' Deborah Roberts asked Fauci during a recent interview.
"I think if carefully done according to the guidelines, there's new reason I can see that not being the case. For example, when you look at going to a grocery stores now in regions and counties and cities that are doing it correctly, they have x's every six or more feet and it says don't leave this spot until the person in front of you left their spot, and you an do that. If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing and don't have a crowded situation, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do that," Fauci said. "There's no reason we shouldn't be able to vote in person."
Yes and? It is still safer to vote from home.
It's safer for the country if turds like you aren't allowed to manufacture votes for Democrats.
Oh? And how do "turds like me manufacture votes" exactly? (Keeping in mind that incidents of voter fraud are extremely rare. In fact,

The Heritage Foundation maintains an online database of election fraud cases in the United States and reports that there have been just over 1,200 cases of vote fraud of all forms, resulting in 1,100 criminal convictions, over the past 20 years. Of these, 204 involved the fraudulent use of absentee ballots; 143 resulted in criminal convictions.
Let’s put that data in perspective.
One hundred forty-three cases of fraud using mailed ballots over the course of 20 years comes out to seven to eight cases per year, nationally. It also means that across the 50 states, there has been an average of three cases per state over the 20-year span. That is just one case per state every six or seven years. We are talking about an occurrence that translates to about 0.00006 percent of total votes cast.
Oregon is the state that started mailing ballots to all voters in 2000 and has worked diligently to put in place stringent security measures, as well as strict punishments for those who would tamper with a mailed ballot. For that state, the following numbers apply: With well over 50 million ballots cast, there have been only two fraud cases verifiable enough to result in convictions for mail-ballot fraud in 20 years. That is 0.000004 percent — about five times less likely than getting hit by lightning in the United States.

"The Heritage Foundation’s Election Fraud Database presents a sampling of recent proven instances of election fraud from across the country. This database is not an exhaustive or comprehensive list. It does not capture all cases and certainly does not capture reported instances that are not investigated or prosecuted. "

Again, yes and? Fraud is not rampant and the push to have registered voters vote by mail is about keeping Americans safe during a deadly pandemic...even complete douchebags like you.

But, Fauci said it was safe, you don't believe him anymore?

Only when hes telling you to stay home, wear a mask or, die, do you believe him?

I absolutely believe him when he says in person voting can be made safe. We have been planning, every day in my office, to make in person voting as safe as possible. But because of social distancing protocols, not to mention Trumptards that won't wear a mask, we are encouraging our voters to vote safely in the comfort of their homes to avoid long lines and potential exposure. I bet dollars to donuts that Dr Fauci would recommend the same.

Actually, White Power Matters started a new topic on the subject:

I have worked at an election office since 2006. Every single election, without fail, I talk to a "dead" voter. (We killed off the wrong John Smith).

Additionally, post every election I investigate incidents of "fraud" including "dead" people voting. In every single instance of a "dead" person voting it was a family member with the same name voting the wrong ballot or signing the wrong line of the roster. Sometimes they die after they vote.

Are you 12 or simply, well simple? There is safe and there is safer. I guarantee you that if you asked Dr. Faucci if it is safer to vote in person or by mail, that he would say by mail. The CDC guidelines say that the best way to keep from getting the virus is to limit your exposure to other people.

And done the right way, voting by mail is completely safe. See how that works?

We know that voting in person is not safe and not matter what mitigating factors you put in place, being in close proximity to other people puts you at greater risk of contracting the virus. I know a guy that has gone out only 5 times since March to get groceries and take out once. He wore a mask and took all the precautions. He now has COVID. There is no such thing as "completely safe" when dealing with this disease. Stay home, vote safe and wait for this disease to go away. You can wait in a long line to vote next election, I promise.

You think its only Trump supporters who don't wear masks?

Fauci has already sounded off on this, he said its safe to vote in person......so, why would he recommend the same? Unless, he changed his mind, again.

You constantly condradict yourself......wear a mask, stay away from people if you want to stay safe.....wearing a mask and staying away from people, won't keep you safe.

You can't guarantee anything Dr. Fauci might say, why don't you ask him, then post the conversation here.

You're just another person who resorts to insults, when you've got nothing else relevant to say......its childish to insult people, when losing an argument.

If we did it the right way, we could vote in person completely safe.

By the way, Covid19 is a VIRUS, a virus knows no boundaries, 6 feet apart means NOTHING to a virus.......its in the AIR, you can't hide from it.

Mask, no mask, 6 feet apart, closer/farther away, makes no difference, a virus doesn't abide by RULES!

“I mean, obviously if you're a person who is compromised physically or otherwise, you don't want to take the chance. There's the situation of mail-in voting that has been done for years in many places." ~ Dr. Anthony Faucci

If that is really the case then the election should be delayed until we have a vaccine.

If you don't have in person voting and voter ID then the election will be a sham ripe for fraud by the Democrats.

Ballots are passed out in the parking lot or on the street to people driving up in cars. You take your ballot, fill it out in the parking lot, at work, or at home. When completed, return to the polls.

When you get there, it will only take 60 seconds to vote. The ballot reader will be outside weather permitting or if an awning is overhead to protect the machine. You present your ID, sign the book, and place your ballot into the reader, and you're done.

Doing it this way, there will be no lines. If the weather is not favorable, have the machine in the hallway right in front of the door, and only one person is allowed in at a time.

You think its only Trump supporters who don't wear masks?

Fauci has already sounded off on this, he said its safe to vote in person......so, why would he recommend the same? Unless, he changed his mind, again.

If we did it the right way, we could vote in person completely safe.

Gosh, it's so weird that places that have instituted mask requirements have seen a decrease in cases.

Wear the mask.

We don't wear masks everywhere we go, there's never been a mandate and, we've had low numbers since the beginning and, are now dropping even lower.......single digit number of deaths for the entire county (elderly people) and low double digit active cases (not severe enough to require hospitalization)

You can't go by just YOUR area every town/county is different.

“I mean, obviously if you're a person who is compromised physically or otherwise, you don't want to take the chance. There's the situation of mail-in voting that has been done for years in many places." ~ Dr. Anthony Faucci

So? That's what's been said since the beginning of this, its what everyone knows to do with ANY illness, people with compromised immune systems, need to take extra precautions.

Right...like VOTE BY MAIL. And Dr. Faucci said "if you are concerned" you should vote by mail. Guess we're all cool. You can go wait in line and potentially expose yourself to the virus. I'll vote safely from the comfort of my home.

Sorry Ray but your way simply won't work. Unless it is a Vote by Mail ballot, you can't let that ballot leave the polling place. Your way destroys any kind of accountability.

Only one person allowed to vote at a time? Are you planning on keeping the polls open until 3AM?

I have a suggest for all you armchair warriors, volunteer to be a pollworker or get a temp job this year at the election office. It will be an eye opening experience.
