Donald Trump on the stand

Will Donald Trump testify in his espionage trial?

  • He'll testify he declassified the documents, which will lead to a not guilty verdict

  • He'll testify and lie his ass off

  • He's too chicken shit to testify under oath

  • His lawyers won't let him even though they should, because they're secretly commie Dem deep staters

  • He can't testify because his divine voice will make mortals' heads explode.

Do you think he'll testify in his own defense? Do you think he should?
Oh, hell no. There is no way on earth his lawyers would put him on the stand. This isn't a political thing and it's not a game show. It will be in a real court with a real judge and a real jury. Are you trying to get him executed?

Goddamn it, don't tease.

That would be the most fabulous testimony in the history of historical histories. He can't keep his mouth shut, and he can't stop lying.

Any prosecutor would sell their mother for the chance.

Since a simple "No" isn't on your list of responses. This is my vote. It is up to the prosecution to prove his guilt. He owes no testimony and would be stupid to take the stand--not that he doesn't do more than his share of stupid stuff.

So what should we infer if Donald doesn't take the stand? Isn't is best shot to tell the jury that the docs were declassified before he left office?
I've thought about that.

Either he is so delusional that he thinks he'd wipe the floor with the prosecutor, OR, at some level, he knows what would really happen.

Not sure.
