Most government teleworkers are in the DC area, and within an hour commute.

Well, you must work for OPM and know everything about govt workers.

Never have been on the OPM website or USA jobs have you? Even years ago they had several remote jobs listed and you did not have to be in D.C.

I would take a good guess that remote workers are 98% more productive in less time than one in the office that hangs around the water cooler shooting the shit for a couple hours a day.
