Does the USA need more socialism or less socialism?

"India has a comprehensive, strict legal framework for environmental protection, but faces challenges with enforcement, compliance, and regulatory consistency. Key laws include the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, along with specific rules for air, water, and waste management. Enforcement is managed by the Central and State Pollution Control Boards and the National Green Tribunal"
-- Environmental Regulations in India

India has strict governmental controls of their environment, and a governmental body that can be bought cheap.

The truth is, no politician cares about the environment more than a mile from their office or home. The only thing that can clean up an environment is a rising standard of living in the immediate area.

Rich people won't tolerate living in a shite-hole and will pay to clean it up.

When given a choice of protecting the environment or making more money, they say “Show me the money”

But, I believe I've demonstrated pretty conclusively that protecting the environment happens best where people are making money.

Do your own research, you will quickly find that the filthiest places on Earth are all in the poorest countries.

You don't see rubbish tips and polluted rivers in a country club ...

But you often find the taxpayers on the hook for cleaning up coal mines.

Better to destroy the environment in pursuit of short term profits
That old pressure treated lumber contained arsenic
Not something you want around your family.
Since nobody in my family ever chewed on our deck, it wasn't an issue. The part of our deck built in 1990 is still in great shape. The part we added with the new lumber rotted after 10 years.

No EPA there

I remember the trash that used to show up on our beaches
Household radon causing lung cancer. Another EPA hoax that is costly to homeowners. The left specializes in solutions to non-existent problems. Not so great at solutions to real problems

Radon is not good for you

No—radon is definitely not a hoax.

Radon is a real, naturally occurring radioactive gas formed when uranium in soil and rock breaks down. It’s invisible, odorless, and tasteless, which is why it can build up in homes without people realizing it.
Here’s why it matters:

Citing the same leftwing organizations as sources. That's circular logic if I ever heard it. The radon hoax is closely related to the climate change hoax. Expensive remedies for unproven "problems".

Well, that's bizarre. Oregon was always left of center, but now it's gone batshit insane.
Climb the Ladder and Then Let Junior Own It

Teflon Trustfunded Treehuggers. As always, the RichKid Reich is the cause of our decline, which will continue as long as it is never blamed.

The uninhibited development of natural resources, as in logging, created the wealth those Daddy-moochers dominate us with. Out of self-protection, they block or obstruct the continuation of what would threaten the exclusive supremacy of their birth-class.

Hayek, for one, also criticized corporate scams, and also had good things to say about Christianity. He agreed with Henry George that without a strong moral and cultural base no amount of ideological rubbish will succeed. Of course, the Randian sociopaths and psychopaths like to cherry pick what he and Adam Smith both had to say about laissez faires' inherent weaknesses. Hayek pointed out the similarities socialist corporatism and 'private' corporatism share, and of course these days we can note the enthusiasm with which big international corporations and Wall Street embrace the Red Chinese model. Hayek gives a lot more credit to Christianity for the success of western democracy and economic progress than most left and right wingers like to acknowledge.
Equity Is Iniquity

Investor Supremacy is collectivist. The employees create the revenue, and the owners collect it from them.

Far easier to follow when one submits a document explaining what you are trying to explain. Do you have documents to show here? I took a photo of my document about Hayek and am still working on how to post it here.

So submit a document explaining why a document is necessary to document a document.

I named a source; whether anyone bothers to read them or not is up to them, not me.

Zero Zebras

Laissez-fairies want to play the game without referees.

None of the robber barons advocated laissez faire, which is why it's hilarious that the Randians harp on it. If they weren't hypocrites they would be calling for eliminating the laws providing Government protections of limited liability for corporate owners and the 'corporate personhood' scams and 'eminent domain' thefts of people's property. Then I might believe they really have principles. Patent laws would need to go, too. So would civil courts and sheriffs.
