How much are these people actually getting from the government?
What difference does it make? It doesn't change the point that these people either irresponsibly or deliberately had children they couldn't afford. If it were up to me, anybody applying for any public assistance would have to be fixed first. Of course we the taxpayers will pay for it because it would be a huge investment on our part. That's how you take steps to lower poverty in the country.
