Nah, the fact we took over the Ukraine in 2014 and are saber rattling over the Ukraine now, does indicate this is a US plot of some sort.
All Zelensky had to do to prevent an invasion, was to NOT cut off negotiations.

And for some reason, Zelensky feels he could get away with requesting an illegal "no-fly-zone".

Today, supposed free countries are controlled by propaganda, and censorship. We conservatives believe that we should control the government. The Left believes, the government should control us for the common good; and the common good is whatever the Left and its politicians thinks it is, at any given time.

If through censorship and propaganda, our government gives us 2 choices to pick from, then claims we are free because we did so, make us really free when through their actions, they denied us access to 4 more options we might have chosen from, or denied us information to make a wiser choice between the 2?

That is the question of our time, and what the next 2 elections are about. The more information you have along with the more options you have, the more free you are!

I agree we should all want the most individual freedom possible, that is what liberalism is all about.
But the left believes the wealthy elite who monopolize capital, have taken over and created economic slavery ever since the Industrial Revolution.
So the left believes popular support of government is necessary in order to restrict economic abuses and slavery.

Government has itself never been the problem, but instead the problem has always been the wealthy elite.
They try to use government, like with feudalism.
But that does not mean we should just weaken government, because then we have abusive corporate powers, which are just as bad.
We need strong government, under popular control, to protect us from the abuses of the wealthy elite.

If the US had not deliberately stopped advancing in WWII, then the US would have been occupying east Germany instead of the Soviets.
The USSR was not in any real position to fight at the end of the war, so we must have been doing something very wrong.

Iran has NEVER remotely threatened anyone, ever.
