Does Anybody Believe the Universities' Line About So-Called "American Imperialism' ?

BWAHAHAHAHA
Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Korea
And that's just off the top.
None of them are American imperialism. Ignorant post.

Ps- there is no such thing as "Korea". There is only North Korea and South Korea.

No one has showed current American imperialism, in this thread.

What did you think expansion over a whole fucking continent is?
Hawaii? The Samoans? Puerto Rico? The Philippines?
What we no doubt would have loved to do to Cuba.
The list goes on and on. What you're describing is colonialism not imperialism. And we have colonies. We are most certainly an empire.
Can you read ? If so, read Post # 312 which refuted your Post # 315, before you wrote it. You wrote the same thing that other posters wrote a few days before you, and they were refuted then.

Now go wash your mouth out with soap.

That wasn't me

It was some one just pointing out the obvious that you don't know what an empire is you stupid old man

If you've admitted to being brainwashed for decades then you have to accept the possibility that you are susceptible to being brainwashed and thus what you think is real now isn't actually real. Maybe in 5 years you have another lightbulb moment and realize that what you believe now was due to you being brainwashed yet again. Something that to a person like me is obviously the case with you.
I have to do no such thing. You're just gimmicking with words, and not doing a very good job of it.
I think I’m doing just fine. The fact that you can’t reply to the topic says it all

REALLY?
The US, acting alone, is trying to overthrow the legitimate governments of Iran, and North Korea and replacing those governments with ones amenable to current US interests. USING SOUTH KOREA AS A BASE. Thus, Korea, Oh and the "two koreas" were the creation of the American government, Just as in Viet Nam, so the US would have a country from which it could launch military ops against China and the Soviet Union ne Russia.

The Govt of Afghanistan was taken down 20 years ago. Why still there? Oh yes. to forcibly install a government amenable to current US interests.

Iraq? The US acting alone overthrew the legitimate government of Iraq in order to install through force a government favorable to current US interests.

Are you seeing the pattern here?

WOW.
Wrong about EVERYTHING.
Obviously a Tiny Brained Trumpinista.

Korea: One Korea with two governments. A situation FORCED on the Korean people by the US just as the US forced an identical division on Vietnam. So the US could install a government favorable to current US interests and the US would have a permanent base of operations on the China/Russia border to threaten military action against the commies.

Iran: Way back to the 50s when the US assassinated the recently DEMOCRATICALLY elected PM so the US could install the Shah to govern because the Shah would be more favorable to current US interests. Now

In 1979 the Iranian people overthrew the Shah and the US govt has been trying for 40 years to overthrow Iran's legitimate government and install one amenable to current US interests. The more things change...

Iraq: Following Iraq's disastrous war with Iran, in which the US backed Iraq, and the invasion of Kuwait the US made it policy to overthrow the legitimate government of Iraq and install one friendly to current US interests. The US would also have a huge military presence on the border of Iran and close to Russia.

Afghanistan: The govt was taken down 20 years ago. Why are we still there EXCEPT to support the US installed government friendly to current US interests.

There are so many more.
Panama, Columbia, Thailand, Philippines

Perhaps correcting your ignorance is the answer. Glad I could help.

OLD MAN YOU REFUSE TO GOOGLE WHAT AN EMPIRE IS
CONFUSING COLONIALISM WITH EMPIRE.
YOU DESERVE THE AGEISM
AND WE ARE A FUCKING COLONIAL POWER ANYWAY
Yeah, and so where are these alleged "colonies", little puppy ?

FALSE! What you said simply is not happening. There is nothing going on versus North Korea, and with Biden in power, nothing to resist Iran's aggression.

And here goes another post descending into a history report.

The reason for US troops in Afghanistan is generally, a defensive posture related to Muslim terrorism, in this case Al Zarqawi and Al Qaeda in Iraq (forerunner of ISIS).

Also, another self-defense scenario involves the 100+ nuclear warheads possessed by Pakistan. Us troops need to be in Afghanistan to be close to Pakistan in the event that the fragile Pakistani government were to fall to the many Muslim jihadists who seek to overthrow it, and who and tried repeatedly to steal the nuclear warheads.
US troops need to be nearby, to be able to quickly go to Pakistan and seize he warheads, and bring them to a secure location, away from jihadists. This is why US troops should never leave Afghanistan.

All these scenarios are of self-defense national security, having nothing to do with imperialism. You're getting an education.

And Vietnam and Korea are history, with neither having anything to do with imperialism currently (except that Vietnam is the 5th most imperialist country in the world pillaging the US economy, with $7.7 billion/year being taken. South Korea is 11th - $ 2.8 Billion/yr)

None of the other countries you mentioned are involved in US imperialism, Mr History Book. (Phillipines is # 4 on the list of countries of which the US is victim of THEIR imperialism - click the link for the whole list)

Correcting your ignorance. Glad I could help.

Obviously your ignorance of your country's history is boundless.
AND
You think we should take over Afghanistan so that, when the opportunity presents, we can take over Pakistan
But you don't believe in American Imperialism?

Imperialists ALWAYS have great rationalizations for their actions.
