Do you really need a cruise ship with a roller coaster on it?

Somali Cruise Lines?
No, it was something pretty well-known (though I can’t remember — ha). We went the first when it was chartered by a business convention. My wife enjoyed it so much she booked a cruise six months later on the same line with general public cruise. It was like a 3-day quarantine on a floating Red Roof Inn. No more cruises for us.

AZAMARA is the lien you want to use.

I’ll keep that in mind. Sounds like a terrorist organization.

I have used them 4 times. 650 total passengers. Casual no children.

Somone, explain to me, like I'm in 2nd grade, why you would build a roller coaster on a cruise ship? Are we that strained for entertainment?
You answered your own question. If you were a 2nd grader, you'd love it.

I’m old enough to remember when cursing meant the Grace Line hybrid cruise ship. And the better department stores advertised cruise wear to the small audience that went cruising.

They were not the floating tourist traps that ply the Carribean today.
I remember when Haiti was a cruise stop. My grandma talked about it.
"Disgusting, Don (Her 3rd husband) and I got off the boat, turned around and went right back on...we thought the beach was black sand...it was the people." :D

I miss her, precious soul.

Cruises are boring, why not have a roller coaster?

Europeans always accuse Americans of overdoing it. In many cases they’re right.

Not strained enough to start a thread on it.

Yeah, I saw one recently that has a go cart track! WTF? I remember seeing people shooting trap off of one on TV in the 70s and thought that was over the top. LOL.

Trivia. Cruise ships came into being because of Prohibition in the US. Once ships put gambling and liquor on them and sailed into international waters, they became popular.
Pesonally, I don't see why the complaint about cruise ships. You work your ass off all day long for many years and you want to see other nations without spending many hours in a cramped flying tube, which due to costs, would limit you on how many locations you could visit. These ships transport you around the globe to numerous ports. I spent a career in the Navy and sailed to ports, but for the most part they involved work and marginal liberty time. After I retired not only from the Navy, but after my second career, my significant other talked me into sailing on a Cruise ship and I enjoyed it.
Hell, as far as I'm concerned, they can create a huge Theme Park Cruise Ship.
