Do everything happen for a reason?

i think abaout thiis a lot. do we live in the world were everything happen and we cant chainge this. are tjhere many different planet and stars that get in the universe by themselve. i hear som people say that all these things, the planet and the stars, obey the law o f universe. then when something die and this influence another person.

i f this is true, my dog h e die so i be better person?

If you believe everything happens for a reason, life is a bit more comfortable. I'm not sure if it's true but I must admit I've seen a few connections once in awhile.
